Rank/Rate             Criteria Description            

1                                             Newcomer to the sport.  No experience in league-level play.  Throwing skills are minimal.  Have a strong desire to learn the game and have fun.

2                                             Have played Ultimate.  Throwing skills are minimal to average.  Some exposure to league-level play.  Have a strong desire to better your game and have fun.

3                                             Have Intramural, league-level, or traveling tournament-level experience.  Throwing skills are average to better-than-average.  Would be played during tight games and still play the game to have fun.

4                                             Have played (not just been on the sidelines) in traveling tournament-level games.  Throwing skills are better than average.  Confident in playing both offense and defense and would be played in clutch games.  Infrequently drop or throwaway the disc.

5                                             Have played for years and have major tournament-level exposure.  Throwing skills are excellent.  Can run or fake just about anyone.  Would rank yourself a 5 if you knew you would be ranked a 5 by others.
