Lets Play Disc

The sun is shining and spring has finally found the Inland Northwest. We have had some impressive ultimate within the last couple weeks so get out those cleats and get fired up for the new season!!

Pick-up will be held every Tuesday in Spokane at 6pm at Franklin Park from April until summer league begins in June. All ages, levels, and abilities are welcome!

We are starting Coeur d'Alene pick-up on Sunday's  at 6pm at Jennie Stokes field. The field is on the corner of Kathleen and Ramsey. From the interstate, take the Northwest Blvd exit and turn north (left if you are coming from Spokane). NW blvd turns into Ramsey and the field will be on your right. Pick-up will be every Sunday at 6pm at this location through May. In June we will be starting a CDA summer league on Thursday nights. We'd love to see ya'll out there!

Last year was a great success for both our Summer League and traveling team and we hope that we can carry this momentum into the 2008 year.

What is Ultimate?

Ultimate is the 'ultimate' of all team sports. It combines the best elements of soccer, basketball, and football and uses a frisbee and a self-officiating system called the 'spirit of the game'.

The goal is to advance the disc up the field (similar to football) in order to score a goal in your opponent's end zone. Ultimate is a non-contact sport and each team (usually four guys and three girls) tries to huck, toss, throw, run, dive, catch and lay it out to win the game.
